I’m gauging interest in an idea: Would you be interested in having your child (age 4 – 7) attend an online STEM-enrichment class / camp this summer (anytime from late June to August)? It could either be once a week for five weeks, or every day for five days. Each session would be on a different theme – ranging from Chemistry to Engineering Towers, from the Science of Sound to Habitats & Adaptations. Each session would be a one hour meeting on Zoom teleconferencing, which would include a check-in time for social connections, a song and a story related to the theme, demonstrations of key science concepts, and suggestions for optional hands-on experiments and craft ideas that your child could do at home with materials you have in the house.
